Content Policy in TECNO SPOT

While you guys are having fun here in TECNO SPOT, do remember to show your utmost respect to the fellow TECNO Fans around you. We sincerely hope that this will be an online platform where everyone can have fun and feel safe as we share and learn from each other! Every home has its own rules and here in TECNO SPOT, we have just a few too.

Content will be prohibited if:

1. Profanity is used

While we encourage our fans to be open and share their opinions, usage of profanity is not tolerated. Users found to be using profanity will be banned from our community.

2. It is illegal

Content may violate the law if it includes, but is not limited to copyright or trademark infringement or illegal sexual content.

3. It contains pornography

We do not condone posting of photographs, videos, or digital images of users in a state of nudity or engaged in any act of sexual conduct, taken or posted without their permission. Other prohibited content includes child sexual abuse imagery, content that encourages or promotes pedophilia, as well as content that glorifies or promotes rape or nonconsensual sexual violence.

4. There are discrimination, threats, harassment or personal attack

Courtesy is the best policy. We understand that there are times you don’t agree with someone or perhaps had a bad day, but this does not justify any use of discrimination, threats or personal attacks. Any form of impolite posting etiquette will result in the user being banned from our community. Let’s all work together to make our community a friendly and welcoming one!

5. They are spams

Spam is posting any content that is not within the topic of discussion or does not contribute constructively to the forum.

6. Author begs for likes

Requesting for Likes is not permitted. Good content will naturally have good engagement. If you have to ask, it just means that your content hasn’t met the mark yet. Don’t give up - keep going!

7. Author advertise or sell products and services

Any form of advertising or sales is strictly prohibited between members in this community. Posting links of third-party vendors reselling TECNO products is also considered as advertising.

9. Personal information of others are posted

It is not nice to post someone's personal information, or post links to personal information. This includes links to public Facebook pages and screenshots of Facebook pages with the names still legible. When posting screenshots, be sure to edit out any personally identifiable information to avoid running afoul of this rule.

10. Impersonation occurs

Impersonating someone in a misleading or deceptive manner is not allowed. However, satire and parody is acceptable.

11. It contains only non-substantial or one-word titled threads

TECNO SPOT is a place for sharing, and we encourage our fans to write threads to share their thoughts, but this has to be done in a certain way. Each thread created has to contain substantial content and a good title. As to present the valuable threads to our TECNO fans, threads that contain non-substantial content and single-worded title (or less than 10 characters) will be deleted.

Enforcement

§Such contents will be deleted immediately

§First time violation: Author will be reminded

§ Second time violation: Author will receive a warning and enter Restricted Group* 1

§Third time violation: Author will be banned for a week and enter Restricted Group

§ Fourth time violation: Author will be banned from the community totally and enter Restricted Group 3.
