We all love using our phones and most of the time we spend lots of time pressing and using different functionalities on our device. From morning till night, we are practically with our mobile devices.

But using your phone on an all-white background can be tiring and even affect your eyes if you have an existing eyesight issue. There is even a myth that an all-white background consumes more battery…lol (We are not here to debunk myths).



Dark mode on HiOS is system-wide. This simply means it covers every part of the device, even system apps like calculator, voice recorder, etc. The dark mode is available in Android HiOS 6 and above

So, what are the advantages of using the dark theme:
•        Can reduce power usage by a significant amount (depending on the device’s screen technology).
•        Improves visibility for users with low vision and those who are sensitive to bright light.
•        Makes it easier for anyone to use a device in a low-light environment.
•        Creates esthetics for your device.

To activate dark mode, simply swipe down to reveal the navigation pane and click on the dark mode icon to activate it.
