Hello Tfans

Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah has received an upgrade in the latest update on FIFA 22 after an incredible start to his 2021/22 campaign for the Reds.

Mohamed Salah has been given a huge upgrade to his in-game stats and overall rating in FIFA 22 after a stellar start to his Premier League and UEFA Champions League campaign.

Salah currently sits at the top of the scoring charts in the Premier League with 10 goals in his first 10 games, including a hat-trick against fierce rivals Manchester United. When including his Champions League goals, Salah has scored 15 in all competitions, and along with his six assists - the Egyptian has tallied 21 goal contributions so far.

Many Liverpool fans were angered with EA Sports after they handed the 29-year-old a downgrade from 90 to 89 rated overall in FIFA 22, despite the winger scoring 31 goals in all competitions in the previous season.

Mohamed Salah's upgrades in FIFA 22
It's no surprise that Salah has received upgrades to his in-game shooting and passing stats after his incredible season so far, but the winger also received an upgrade to his overall rating - reverting back to his FIFA 21 rating of 90 overall.

The winger also saw a +1 upgrade in his FIFA 22 potential rating, showing that EA may be anticipating the player to increase again in the near future.

The stats that were upgraded in-game were his finishing (91-92), long shots (84-85), short passing (84-85), vision (83-84), dribbling (90-91) and reactions (92-93), making him one of the most complete attackers in FIFA 22.

According to FIFA, Salah is now the third-best finisher in the Premier League, with his now 92 rated shooting higher than Jamie Vardy (91) and equal with Romelu Lukaku.

The latest FIFA 22 squad update was released on Friday, October 29, 2021, with fellow Premier League clubs Manchester United, Chelsea and Arsenal all receiving big changes based on their seasons so far.
