my problem with tecno phone the other good phones. like tecno camon 12 pro. tecno phantom 9. techno mobile technology allow those phones to receive hios 6 and Android 10 upgrade and stop fooling people around if not you will start losing your followers and people will stop buying techno phone

This community (and that of Infinix) must be the most gullible. All we do is buy their phones but we keep quiet about software updates. We ain't making enough noise about the lack of updates on Tecno phones.

We paid for them and if they don't get monthly updates and at least one major OS upgrade (see, we even asking for 1 and not 2 as stipulated by Google), send them updates quarterly like other OEMs.

For a company that commands such a huge customer base, Transsion needs to be called out.

frankkinuthia : Heck my phone was even neglected and it was priority one for an Android 10 upgrade. Instead, the upgrade package (stable build) was sent out to only 2000 people and has remained in that state since November 2019. I had to manually flash the ROM. Just sad

frankkinuthia : I agree. But trust me we've made noise, I can personally attest to that. But all they do is keep silent. Heck, even a 2019 device like the Pouvoir 3 Plus is still on an August 2019 security patch.

frankkinuthia : HiOS v 6.0 is based on Android 10. It's currently only available for three TECNO devices, the two that make up the Camon 15 series and about 2000 Spark 3 Pro devices.
