With the continous rise in Coronavirus cases accross the globe, Whatsapp deepens its collaboration with the World Health Organization. Earlier last month, whatsapp launched the free to use World Health Organization health alert service, designed to respond to questions from the public about the Coronavirus pandemic, bringing to all prompt, reliable and official information 24 hours a day, worldwide. The Facebook owned messaging app is taking it a step further with the announcement of a 'together at home sticker pack.' which offers users a pictorial or graphical way of expressing themselves as it relates to the ongoing pandemic. The information was made available by whatsapp in a blog post on "Staying Connected Through Stickers."
The together at home sticker pack debut today (April 21, 2020) in 10 languages (Arabic, English, French, German, Indonesian, Italian, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish and Turkish) with localized text for all languages excluding English.
