While there are some Android phone users who prefer to surf the web on their smartphone's browser cause of optimized experience, there are also other android phone users who prefer the app, and lastly, we have smartphone users who prefer surfing the desktop layout of a website on their Android phone.

✓ Launch your Chrome Browser and input the URL of your preferred site or most visited website.
✓ while on the site, tap on the 'Three Vertical Dots' located at the top right-hand corner indicated with a red arrow in the caption below.
One important thing to note is that; if your Chrome browser has a new update from Google Play Store, the three vertical dots you are to locate at the top right-hand corner, will be displayed as seen in the caption below and indicated by the blue arrow.
✓ A pop-up menu will be displayed containing a list of available Chrome features, tap on 'Desktop Site' to check the box, just as indicated by the red arrow in the caption below.
✓ The page will automatically reload the Desktop Version of the requested website. To return back to the Mobile Version of the site simply 'Uncheck' the box, close the tab the page is loaded on, or simply repeat from the second to the fourth instruction.

✓ Launch your Firefox Browser and input the URL of your preferred site or most visited website.
✓ While on the site, tap on the 'Three Vertical Dots' located at the top right-hand corner indicated with a red arrow in the caption below.
✓ A pop-up menu will appear containing a list of available Firefox features, tap on 'Request Desktop Site' to check the box beside it, just as indicated by the red arrow in the caption below.
✓ The page will automatically reload the Desktop Version of the requested website. To return to the Mobile Version of the site; simply 'Uncheck' the box, or you simply repeat from the second to the fourth instruction.
So there you have it, you can now request for the Desktop Version of any of your preferred site, also there are some sites whose mobile versions or pages are not really optimized for users and visitors alike, with the instructions above, you can easily access the desktop versions of these sites without the use of a PC.
