How To Remove Adhesive Screen Protector From Your TECNO Smartphone

CARLCARE NG | 2022-01-210115

Carlcare
Hello T-Fans, Nothing is more aggravating than removing your screen protector only to see a sticky mess all over the screen. It can make your device hard to use and will also take away your cool. Nobody wants to use a phone with a sticky touchscreen, which is why we have curated this guide on how to remove screen protector adhesive with quick and easy steps. Cleaning off the screen protector’s adhesive can be really annoying, especially when you don’t know what to do. If you want your device to work at its optimal performance, then this guide is for you. HOW TO REMOVE SCREEN PROTECTOR GLUE. An old or broken tempered glass screen protector can leave behind a sticky, smeary mess on your device’s screen. This sticky residue can collect dust and make your phone look less attractive. We know how frustrating it is to see your device’s screen getting darker. Don’t worry if you want to get rid of leftover adhesive. We will help you out. This guide includes all the information regarding how to remove screen protector adhesive with quick and easy methods. Here are some methods that you can use to remove the sticky residue from the screen and make your cleaning task much easier. Use Vinegar. Dip a microfiber cloth in a solution of water and vinegar (use less water than vinegar), then apply the damp cloth to the sticky surface. Let the solution rest on the screen for a couple of minutes so that it can dissolve the adhesive effectively. Now, you can easily rub off the sticky residue using the cloth. Finger Rubbing. This is the most common and widely used method that you can use to get rid of the sticky residue. You can totally skip this method if the surface is too sticky, as things can get worse. If not, use your fingers to "roll up" the glue and wipe down the screen with a damp cloth. Petroleum Jelly. You can also apply petroleum jelly onto the sticky surface and allow it to settle for a few hours. It will dissolve the glue and make it easier for you to scrape it off using a credit card. After that, use a damp cloth to remove the leftover residue. Using Alcohol. Another method for removing adhesive residue is to opt for alcohol. Use a soft mesh cloth and dab a little alcohol on it. Now, apply it over the sticky area and leave it for a few minutes. It will soak up the adhesive and allow you to rub it off using your fingers. But remember that alcohol may affect the paint on your phone, so be mindful. STEPS TO CLEAN OFF SCREEN PROTECTOR GLUE. To get a clean and efficient job, make sure you follow the steps mentioned below: ✓ First, turn off your phone to highlight the leftover adhesive so that you know where you need to clean. ✓ Now take a lint-free cloth and rub it all over the surface to clean your phone. Sometimes the adhesive might come off when rubbing it with a mesh cloth. ✓ Dab a little cooking oil and apply it to the sticky area. It will loosen the adhesive without damaging the natural protective layer of the device. ✓ Or you can use alcohol instead of cooking oil; it will help remove stubborn glue on the screen. If you don’t have alcohol, try giving mayonnaise a shot, as it will soften the glue and make your cleaning job easier. Apply a thin layer of mayo on the sticky surface and let it sit for about 20 minutes. Then gently remove the adhesive and mayo layer with a soft mesh cloth. Be mindful to avoid getting mayonnaise in the charging port or speaker when rubbing it off. STEPS TO CLEAN THE STICKY SIDE OF A SCREEN PROTECTOR. When you remove the screen protector, it is easy to leave fingerprints, dirt, and other particles on the sticky surface. So, I advise you to clean that sticky side of a screen protector before disposing of it. You can follow the steps mentioned below. ✓ Pick up the screen protector and keep the adhesive side under running water. ✓ Now clean the sticky surface using dish soap gently. It will get rid of dust, fingerprint stains, and other fine particles trapped by the glue. ✓ Use a hairdryer to dry both sides of a screen protector. ✓ If you are performing these steps in a dusty room, your screen protector might pick up some dust particles again. Don’t worry, use a strip of masking tape and turn it around in a loop. ✓ Now dab the looped tape on the adhesive surface of the screen protector where you spot dust particles. It will help in extracting every bit of dust that lands on the surface. ✓ After removing every particle on the screen protector, use a soft mesh cloth to wipe down any dust particles on your device that have collected on the surface. ✓ Now you are ready to place your finger-print-free or dust-free screen protector on the device’s surface. HOW DO YOU CLEAN YOUR SMARTPHONE SCREEN PROTECTOR. Sometimes debris may get trapped between the protector and your device’s screen, which makes the screen look marred. You might feel tempted to get rid of that bubble, only to make the situation even worse. We know that cleaning the adhesive side of the screen protector is a little tricky, especially when you don’t know what to do. You can follow the steps below to clean the screen protector of a phone. For External Cleaning; ✓ Use a cleaning solution of water and dish soap and carefully apply it over the screen. ✓ Apply the mixture for about 15 seconds to work its way into dissolving grime particles. ✓ Finally, you can use a soft mesh cloth to wipe off each corner of the screen protector. For Internal Cleaning; ✓ You should keep a soft cloth, packing tape, and cleaning solution handy. ✓ Now, carefully lift the screen protector using your nails or a toothpick. ✓ Lift it enough to slide in a business card or chip, but be careful with glass pieces. ✓ Get your hands on two corners while pulling slowly the screen protector. ✓ Make sure you don’t scratch the screen while removing the glass. ✓ Voila! After successfully removing the glass, you have to follow the steps mentioned above for cleaning the adhesive side of a screen protector. FINAL THOUGHTS. We hope this guide on how to remove screen protector adhesive helped you in every way possible. Now you will never have to worry about cleaning the tempered glass or bubbles on your device again. HOW TO BUILD A GREAT CV

PresidentSan | 2022-01-201113

Campus
Hello Tfans A CV simply means Curriculum Vitae, a Latin word that means course of life. It's a detailed document highlighting your academic history as well as your professional or work experience. There's often this argument on the difference between a CV and a resume. A resume was derivedfrom a french word that means summary or abstract, therefore a resume is usually short and brief. In some places and industries, a CV and a resume are used interchangeably. Most of the time, a detailed multipage CV is required to apply for a job in the academia, where they need informations about your previous research works, previous roles and others. However in most companies and organization today, what they mean by a CV or resume is a short but clear and concise details of your past experiences and skills to know whether or not you're fit for the job. This will lead us to the first rule in building a great CV as a student 1) Keep it short: Except if you're interested in applying for a job in the academia, your CV or resume should be short, 2 pages at the most. Your recruiter do not have enough time going through a multipage CV, all they're after are certain keywords that shows them you are the right fit for the job. Some people however are of the opinion that your CV should be as long as it is relevant, meaning you shouldn't cut down necessary details or fill it up with roles that have nothing to do with the job you're applying for. 2) Include your contact information and profile statement Your contact information should be at the top, these are your name, email address and phone number, then your profile statement should follow. The personal profile statement is like your executive summary or elevator pitch, a short sentence that sells you to your recruiter, make it short, relevant and captivating, something like. I'm a value driven and result oriented content writer, with a proven track record in content development, S E.O and digital marketing. 3) Add your academic history: Do this is an reverse order, and most preferably, include only your recent two educational experience. Don't make this too long, because your recruiter is not so much interested in it. Help drive their attention to your work experience. 4) Include your work and volunteer experience List the companies and organizations you've worked for, include your roles under each, and how you helped the organization become better. Each bullet point should begin with an action verb and should demonstrate the responsibilities you held as well as your achievements. Use numbers, percentages and figures while stating your achievements. 5) Include skills, honors and awards State all the relevant skills you have in line with the job description, and it should come after your summary. Honors and awards should come after you've stated your working experience. Don't hold back here, make sure you include every important skills, honors and awards you've received. However do not lie as that may have drastic consequences. We would speak more on how you can gain valuable experiences as a student and become more employable later. Have a great day and thanks for reading through. Read all >>

DEAL WITH THOSE HABITS USING THESE TRICKS

Simileoluwa445 | 2022-01-20071

Tips and Tricks
Hello T-fans, Welcome to today's session, today's post is basically dealing with habits using some tricks. * COMMIT TO THIRTY DAYS Three to four weeks is all the time you need to make a habit automatic. If you can make it through the initial conditioning phase, it becomes much easier to sustain. A month is a good block of time to commit to a change since it easily fits in your calendar. * MAKE IT DAILY Consistency is critical if you want to make a habit stick. If you want to start exercising, go to the gym every day for your first thirty days. Going a couple times a week will make it harder to form the habit. Activities you do once every few days are trickier to lock in as habits. * START SIMPLE Don’t try to completely change your life in one day. It is easy to get over-motivated and take on too much. If you wanted to study two hours a day, first make the habit to go for thirty minutes and build on that. * REMIND YOURSELF Around two weeks into your commitment it can be easy to forget. Place reminders to execute your habit each day or you might miss a few days. If you miss time it defeats the purpose of setting a habit to begin with. * STAY CONSISTENT The more consistent your habit the easier it will be to stick. If you want to start exercising, try going at the same time, to the same place for your thirty days. When cues like time of day, place and circumstances are the same in each case it is easier to stick. * FORM A TRIGGER A trigger is a ritual you use right before executing your habit. If you wanted to wake up earlier, this could mean waking up in exactly the same way each morning. If you wanted to quit smoking you could practice snapping your fingers each time you felt the urge to pick up a cigarette. * Remove Temptation Restructure your environment so it won’t tempt you in the first thirty days. Remove junk food from your house, cancel your cable subscription, throw out the cigarettes so you won’t need to struggle with willpower later. * Know the Benefits Familiarize yourself with the benefits of making a change. Get books that show the benefits of regular exercise. Notice any changes in energy levels after you take on a new diet. Imagine getting better grades after improving your study habits. Read all >>

AUSTRALIAN OPEN 2022

Joshuaboy | 2022-01-19036

Others
Hello T-fans, The 2022 Australian Open is the first Grand Slam tennis tournament of the year. The tennis tournamen runs from Monday 17 to Sunday 30 January 2022 at Melbourne Park in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. The sports venue has been the home of the Australian Open since the country’s bicentenary in 1988. The park does not just host tennis – it has previously hosted basketball, netball, music concerts among other events. It is the 110th edition of the Australian Open and the 54th in the Open Era. The tournament is run by the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and is part of the 2022 ATP Tour and the 2022 WTA Tour calendars under the Grand Slam category. The tournament consists of both men's and women's singles and doubles draws as well as the mixed doubles events. It is played on hard courts and will take place across a series of 25 courts, including the four main show courts of Rod Laver Arena, John Cain Arena, Margaret Court Arena and 1573 Arena. It is also the debut of Kia Arena, which now makes five main tennis arenas. The tournament has made headlines the last few weeks after announcing players would be required to be vaccinated. The build-up to the Australian Open was like no other. It was dominated by one man, Novak Djokovic - over a 10-day period the nine-time Australian Open winner had his visa cancelled, was detained at an immigration hotel, won an appeal to get his visa re-instated, trained at Melbourne Park, had his visa revoked again - this time by the immigration minister, Alex Hawke - launched another appeal that was rejected and he left the country. Mats Wilander has said that the judge who ruled on the final appeal may have changed the course of sporting history. It is a story that will run and run, with reports emerging that the 34-year-old will now need a vaccine to compete at the French Open, and doubts persist over whether the world No. 1 will be able to compete at Wimbledon or the US Open either. Novak Djokovic and Naomi Osaka were the defending champions in Men's Singles and Women's Singles respectively. Djokovic was unable to participate in the tournament after his visa was cancelled for reasons related to his COVID-19 vaccination status. Despite the overbearing nature of the Djokovic saga, this year’s tournament is decorated with narrative. How deep will Andy Murray go into the tournament? Will Ashleigh Barty seal a first win at her home Grand Slam? Can Daniil Medvedev seal back-to-back Grand Slam wins to usher in a new era in the men’s game? What of Emma Raducanu – will she replicate her astonishing US Open success? Can Alex Zverev back up his Olympic and Tour finals win with a maiden Grand Slam? How will defending champion Naomi Osaka fare? Will Rafael Nadal win a 21st Grand Slam? Daniil Medvedev is now the highest-ranked player in the Australian Open, following Novak Djokovic being replaced in the draw. The two biggest names missing from the men’s side aside Djokovic are Roger Federer and Dominic Thiem. Also missing are Stan Wawrinka, Milos Raonic, Guido Pella, Jeremy Chardy, Kyle Edmund, Aljaz Bedene and Pierre-Hugues Herbert. On the women’s side, there will be no Serena or Venus Williams for the first time since 1997. American Jennifer Brady, who lost in the final to Naomi Osaka, has withdrawn due to a foot injury and Karolina Muchova is also not playing. FINANCIALNEWS: INVESTMENT

sirsmallz | 2022-01-182181

Stories
Hello Tfans,An investment is an asset or item acquired with the goal of generating incomeor appreciation. Appreciation refers to an increase in the value of an assetover time. When an individual purchases a good as an investment, the intent isnot to consume the good but rather to use it in the future to create wealth. Investment requires a sacrifice of some present asset, such as time, money, or effort. In finance, the purpose of investing is to generate a return from theinvested asset. The return may consist of a gain (profit) or a loss realized from the sale of a property or an investment, unrealized capital appreciation (or depreciation), or investment income suchas dividends, interests, or rental income, or a combination of capital gain and income. The return may alsoinclude currency gains or losses due to changes in the foreign currency exchange rates. Investors generally expect higher returns from riskier investments. When a low-risk investment is made, the return is also generally low.Similarly, high risk comes with a chance of high returns. TYPES OF INVESTMENT According to Investopedia; 1. Ownership Investments Ownership investments are the mostvolatile and profitable class of investment. The following are examples. a. StocksOwning stock means owning a portion of a company. It may be a minus cule stake, but it's ownership.b. BusinessThe money put into starting and running a business is an investment.c. Real EstateHouses and apartments that are purchased to rent out or to resell are investments.d. Precious Objects andCollectiblesGold and precious gemstones,Impressionist paintings and signed LeBron James jerseys, all can all be considered ownership investments, provided that these objects were bought with the intention of reselling them for a profit.2. Lending InvestmentsLending money is a category of investing. The risks generally are lower than for many investments and, consequently, the rewards are relatively modest. a. Savings AccountsA regular savings account is an investment. The investor is essentially lending money to the bank. The bank will pay interest to the account holder and will earn its profit by loaning out the rest of the money to businesses at a higher rate of interest.b. BondsBond is a catch-all category for a wide variety of investments from National Treasuries and international debt issues to corporate junk bonds and credit default swaps (CDS).3. Cash EquivalentsThese are investments are "as good as cash," which means that they can be converted back to cash easily and quickly.4. Money Market FundsMoney market funds are similar to savings accounts and can be purchased at any bank. The difference is that the investor commits to leaving the money alone for a period of time in return fora slightly higher rate of interest. The time period is as little as three months and no longer than a year. REASONS YOU NEED TO INVEST 1. Higher Investment ReturnsInvestment in stock can lead to returns through two ways – one could be through dividends while the other could be from capital gains. Investing in a bond can benefit the investor in the form of regular payouts or coupons which are given during the investment period Investingin real estate can also benefit an investor through rental income and capital gains. 2. Retirement Plan or FIREThe majority of people invest for retirement purposes. As most people rely on their salary income for meeting their needs, it becomes difficult to sustain their lifestyles after retirement when one does not have a job. This means that everyone needs to invest a part of his income during working years toensure a nest egg during his retirement years. While the government and companies used to give a defined benefit pension plan for employees earlier, now one has to mostly rely on defined contribution plans. 3. Beat InflationInvesting is also important to beat inflation. If you don’t invest your money but just leave it in your checking or savings account, the money will decline in purchasing power as inflation will eat away the value of your money. 4. Reach Your Financial GoalsInvesting is one of the key ways in achieving the financial goals for oneself. As an individual grows through life, there are new financial requirements that come up. It usually starts with buying a house. Even if one funds a house through a loan, there is the requirement of a substantial down payment. By investing through a mix of assets, an individual can build up the corpus required for the down payment. 5.Diversify Your Income Investment allows you to create multiple streams of income. TIPS ON REMEMBERING IMPORTANT DATES

Simileoluwa445 | 2022-01-180160

Tips and Tricks
Hello T-fans, Welcome to today's session, today's post is on useful tips that helps you remember important dates easier. * CREATE STRONG VISUALIZATIONS: If you can create vivid images to associate with a date, you will have a much easier time remembering it. The more ridiculous, silly, and strange the image, the better! * USE YOUR BODY: You can create very strong associations by actively using your body when trying to memorize dates. Pacing while you study, creating hand motions to learn along with certain dates, and even singing out dates can all improve your memory. * ORGANIZE YOUR INFORMATION: If you can group the dates you need to learn in any meaningful way, you will have a much greater chance of memorizing them. This is because it is very difficult to memorize a set of unconnected bits of information. As you spend time each day practicing the dates you need to remember, look for ways to classify and organize them. * ASSIGN A LETTER TO EACH NUMBER IN THE DATE: You can improve your memory by creating associations, such as between a letter and a number. * MAKE DETAILED ASSOCIATIONS: You will recall things like dates better if you can make more detailed and illustrative associations. One technique is to use the strings of letters you form using the previous step to develop fun and memorable sentences. * CONCENTRATE ON THE DATES YOU NEED TO LEARN: We often immediately lose 50% of what we are studying, so it is very important to concentrate when studying dates. You can begin by simply reminding yourself that you want to and/or need to remember the dates. Concentrating in this way can help your remember 20% to 60% more information. There are various practical ways to concentrate while studying. * REPEAT THE DATES FREQUENTLY: The more you can repeat information you need to learn, the more likely you are to memorize it. Since we lose the greatest amount of information within 24 hours of learning something, it is important not just to repeat the information immediately, but frequently. If you keep practicing and going over dates every day, you increase your recall and memory; if you keep trying to memorize them for thirty days, you are likely to remember them for years to come. * REPEAT THE DATES FREQUENTLY: The more you can repeat information you need to learn, the more likely you are to memorize it. NANA OLOMU

VivieCouture | 2022-01-17089

General
Hello T-Fans, Here is another history of a Merchant and millionaire who made Britians see slavery as a difficult trade. Nana, like Jaja of Opobo treated last week had his kingdom in control of Palm Oil trade. Nana Olomu (1852-1916) was an Itsekiri chief and merchant from the Niger Delta region of southern Nigeria. He was the fourth Itsekiri chief to hold the position of Governor of Benin River. Nana was involved in the commercial activities in Niger Delta. His father, named Olomu was wealthy and successful in his lifetime, we can tell that Nana's wealth and remarkable success was inherited. In those days, slavery was very common trade but Nana, through the help of his father's status and business became a Palm Oil Merchant instead. His trading extended into the hinterlands of the Benin and Ethiope Rivers. He signed a treaty on behalf of his people in 1884. This treaty gave the British rights over Itsekiri. Few years after the fall of Ovonramwem Benin, they became the first protectorate in the Western Niger Delta. Between 1886 and 1894, he became the 4th Itsekiri to be that Governor of the Benin River area. However, in 1894, Nama was shipped away to exile to Gold Coast (present day Ghana) with a stipend to cater for his needs while his business was taken away -he attacked Urhobo Villages that had abandoned the norm to trade directly with the British. He died ten years after returning from exile to set his feet on Itsekiri. Trust you had a nice read? Read all >>

CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES

TSPOT HEALTH NG | 2022-01-17092

Health
Hello T-Fans, Today we will discuss about Cardiovascular diseases and different types. Generally, Cardiovascular diseases(CVDs) are a group of disorders that affects the heart, blood vessels and the circulatory system. Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are the leading cause of death globally, taking an estimated 17.9 million lives each year. CVDs are a group of disorders of the heart and blood vessels and include coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, rheumatic heart disease and other conditions. More than four out of five CVD deaths are due to heart attacks and strokes, and one third of these deaths occur prematurely in people under 70 years of age. The most important behavioural risk factors of heart disease and stroke are unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, tobacco use and harmful use of alcohol. The effects of behavioural risk factors may show up in individuals as raised blood pressure, raised blood glucose, raised blood lipids, and overweight and obesity. These “intermediate risks factors” can be measured in primary care facilities and indicate an increased risk of heart attack, stroke, heart failure and other complications. Cessation of tobacco use, reduction of salt in the diet, eating more fruit and vegetables, regular physical activity and avoiding harmful use of alcohol have been shown to reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease. Health policies that create conducive environments for making healthy choices affordable and available are essential for motivating people to adopt and sustain healthy behaviours. Identifying those at highest risk of CVDs and ensuring they receive appropriate treatment can prevent premature deaths. Access to noncommunicable disease medicines and basic health technologies in all primary health care facilities is essential to ensure that those in need receive treatment and counselling. WHAT ARE CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES? Cardiovascular diseases (CVDs) are a group of disorders of the heart and blood vessels. They include: [*]coronary heart disease – a disease of the blood vessels supplying the heart muscle; [*]cerebrovascular disease – a disease of the blood vessels supplying the brain; [*]peripheral arterial disease – a disease of blood vessels supplying the arms and legs; [*]rheumatic heart disease – damage to the heart muscle and heart valves from rheumatic fever, caused by streptococcal bacteria; [*]congenital heart disease – birth defects that affect the normal development and functioning of the heart caused by malformations of the heart structure from birth; and [*]deep vein thrombosis and pulmonary embolism – blood clots in the leg veins, which can dislodge and move to the heart and lungs. Heart attacks and strokes are usually acute events and are mainly caused by a blockage that prevents blood from flowing to the heart or brain. The most common reason for this is a build-up of fatty deposits on the inner walls of the blood vessels that supply the heart or brain. Strokes can be caused by bleeding from a blood vessel in the brain or from blood clots. WHAT ARE THE RISK FACTORS FOR CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE?The most important behavioural risk factors of heart disease and stroke are unhealthy diet, physical inactivity, tobacco use and harmful use of alcohol. There are also a number of underlying determinants of CVDs. These are a reflection of the major forces driving social, economic and cultural change – globalization, urbanization and population ageing. Other determinants of CVDs include poverty, stress and hereditary factors. In addition, drug treatment of hypertension, diabetes and high blood lipids are necessary to reduce cardiovascular risk and prevent heart attacks and strokes among people with these conditions. WHAT ARE COMMON SYMPTOMS OF CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASES? Symptoms Of Heart Attacks And Strokes: Often, there are no symptoms of the underlying disease of the blood vessels. A heart attack or stroke may be the first sign of underlying disease. Symptoms of a heart attack include: [*]pain or discomfort in the centre of the chest; and/or [*]pain or discomfort in the arms, the left shoulder, elbows, jaw, or back. In addition the person may experience difficulty in breathing or shortness of breath; nausea or vomiting; light-headedness or faintness; a cold sweat; and turning pale. Women are more likely than men to have shortness of breath, nausea, vomiting, and back or jaw pain. The most common symptom of a stroke is sudden weakness of the face, arm, or leg, most often on one side of the body. Other symptoms include sudden onset of: [*]numbness of the face, arm, or leg, especially on one side of the body; [*]confusion, difficulty speaking or understanding speech; [*]difficulty seeing with one or both eyes; [*]difficulty walking, dizziness and/or loss of balance or coordination; [*]severe headache with no known cause; and/or [*]fainting or unconsciousness. People experiencing these symptoms should seek medical care immediately. WHAT IS RHEUMATIC HEART DISEASE?Rheumatic heart disease is caused by damage to the heart valves and heart muscle from the inflammation and scarring caused by rheumatic fever. Rheumatic fever is caused by an abnormal response of the body to infection with streptococcal bacteria, which usually begins as a sore throat or tonsillitis in children. Rheumatic fever mostly affects children in developing countries, especially where poverty is widespread. Globally, about 2% of deaths from cardiovascular diseases are related to rheumatic heart disease. SYMPTOMS OF RHEUMATIC HEART DISEASE Symptoms of rheumatic heart disease include: shortness of breath, fatigue, irregular heartbeats, chest pain and fainting.Symptoms of rheumatic fever include: fever, pain and swelling of the joints, nausea, stomach cramps and vomiting. What Are Your Investment Plans?

08168352774 | 2022-01-152177

General
Hello Tfans, today, we would be discussing financial investors an individual and as a business owner. According to Wikipedia, Investment is the dedication of an asset to attain an increase in value over a period of time. Investment requires a sacrifice of some present asset, such as time, money, or effort. In the financial world, the purpose of investing is to generate a return from the invested asset. The return may consist of a gain (profit) or a loss realized from the sale of a property or an investment. An investment plan refers to a process of matching your financial goals and objectives with your financial resources. There are various types of different investments and the most commonly used are cash, equities, bonds as well as property. Individuals and business owners will need to ask themselves the following questions to begin the process of framing a financial plan:■ What are my short-term, medium-term, and long-term goals?■ What is my total income after taxes and deductions?■ What are my current living expenses?■ What changes in living expenses do I expect?■ How can I protect against inflation?■ How can I develop a plan for retirement?■ How much can I realistically save and invest each month for future goals such as college expenses or a down payment on a house or car? Step By Step Process Of Making Investment Plans Step #1: Assess Your Current Financial SituationThe first step in making an investment plan for the future is to define your present financial situation. You need to figure out how much money you have to invest. You can do this by setting up a budgetto evaluate your monthly disposable income after expenses and emergency savings. This will allow you to determine how much you can reasonably afford to invest. Step #2: Define Financial GoalsThe next step in making an investment plan is to define your financial goals. Why are you investing? What are you hoping to earn money for? This can be anything from buying a car in a few years to retiring comfortably many years down the road. All of your goals can be summed up in three main categories: safety, income and growth. Safety is when you are looking to maintain your current level of wealth, income is when you want investments to provide active income to live off of and growth is when you want to build wealth over the long term. Step #3: Determine Risk Tolerance and Time Horizon The next step in crafting your investment plan is to decide how much riskyou are willing to take. Generally speaking, the younger you are, the more risk you can take, since your portfolio has time to recover from any losses. If you are older, you should seek less risky investments and instead invest more money upfront to spur growth.Additionally, riskier investments have the potential for significant returns – but also major losses. Taking a chance on an undervalued stock or piece of land could prove fruitful, or you could lose your investment. If you are looking to build wealth over years, you may want to choose a safer investment path. Step #4: Decide What to Invest InThe final step is to decide where to invest. There are many different accounts you can use for your investments. Your budget, goals and risk tolerance will help guide you towards the right types of investment for you. You can even invest in real estate, art and other physical items.Wherever you device to invest, make sure to diversify your portfolio. You don’t want to put all of your money into stocks and risk losing everything if the stock market crashes.Once you reach this step in the process, it may be appropriate to find a financial advisor. An advisor can help you determine the best ways to invest your money based on your current financial situation. Step #5: Monitor and Rebalance Your Investments Once you have made your investments, it’s not wise to just leave them alone. Every so often, you should check in to see how your investments are performing and decide if you need to rebalance. For example, maybe you aren’t putting enough money into your investments monthly and you aren’t on track to reach your goals, or maybe you’re depositing more than you need to and you’re ahead of schedule. Once you feel like your investment plan is in good shape, you’ll want to consider rebalancing your portfolio. This involves bringing your portfolio’s composition back to its intended asset allocation. Investment Ideas: Stocks: Stocks are the most common mode of investment where you buy and sell shares of a listed company. Owning shares of a company makes you its part-owner and the price movements of shares depend on the growth and fall of the company. Stock investments can generate attractive returns over the medium to long term but it involves risk. Investors need to do their research and thoroughly analyze the stocks before making an investment. Mutual Funds: Mutual funds are the pooled investment tools where collective funds from several investors are invested in conventional instruments like stocks, bonds, etc. Forex: Forex or foreign exchange refers to buying and selling one currency for another. Traders normally trade currencies like EURUSD, GBPUSD etc.Online forex trading is not yet regulated but it is not illegal in Nigeria. There are estimated to be over 200,000 forex traders in Nigeria, which is the highest in Africa. Cc: SmartAccess.Com Read all >>
